Our woman crush wednesday shoutout goes to every dedicated entrepreneur or business woman out there but top on our list is @Folorunsho Alakija.She is a model and would make a wonderful mentor to any aspiring billionaire business woman.She has showcased us strength,risk taking ability, determination and success.She is the richest Black woman,she has tread where men trod and made it and she gives glory to God for all her achievements..

Folorunsho Alakija was born 15 july 1951 in Ikorodu Lagos State,Nigeria. She oversees several businesses such as Fashion,Oil,Real estate and printing industries.She is the Vice Chairman of @FAMFA Oil Limited i.e her family’s oil exploration and production business as well as owning the majority stake in Dayspring property Development Company as the Vice Chairman to a real estate company with investments in different parts of the world.She is also the group managing director of the Rose of Sharon Group which consists of the Rose of sharon prints and promotions limited.Mrs Alakija is the first female to be appointed as Chancellor of a public university in Africa. Furthermore, she is also a board member of the @Commonwealth Business Forum and has received many awards both locally and internationally.

She started her carrer as an executive secretary at Sijuade Enterprises Lagos Nigeria,after working for years she established a tailoring company called ‘supreme stitches’ which later became Rose of sharon House of Fashion.she left an indelible mark promoting Nigerian culture through fashion and style.Mrs Alakija experienced hard and trying times too but she was determined.She didn’t go to a university and she is proud to say it because she has fought her way to the top and has been listed the one of the most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.She believes women can make changes in our world.She is a strong believer in God,a risk taker,a focused woman and an hustler who knows nothing is unrealistic.

She has a foundation called Rose of Sharon foundation that helps widows and orphans through scholarships and business grants.She has also donated a skill acquisition center to Yaba college of Technology in Lagos.
